SUMMARY:GCSC Visual and Performing Arts Presents Annual Holiday Concerts
DESCRIPTION:The Visual & Performing Arts Division at Gulf Coast State College is proud to present two annual holiday concerts coming early December. The first concert\, held on Friday\, December 1\, 2023\, will feature the Singing Commodores and the GCSC Jazz Ensemble. The second concert\, held on Sunday\, December 3\, 2023\, will feature the Concert Chorale and the Concert Band. Concertgoers can expect an array of holiday favorites that encompass the spirit of the season. \n\n\n\n\nThe Singing Commodores and Jazz Ensemble will perform on Friday\, December 1\, at 7:30 p.m. in the Amelia Center Theatre.\n\n\n\nThe Concert Chorale and Concert Band will perform on Sunday\, December 3\, at 2:30 p.m. in the Amelia Center Theatre.\n\n\n\nBoth concerts are free and open to the community\, though monetary donations are accepted to support music scholarships.\n\n\n\n\nFor additional information\, please contact Jennifer McAtee at jmcatee@gulfcoast.edu or (850) 872.3887. SUMMARY:11th Annual Bethlehem Christmas Village
DESCRIPTION:Join us at Capt. Anderson’s Marina\, for our 11th Annual Bethlehem Christmas Village December 13-16 from 5:30pm – 8:30pm\, as we walk through ancient Bethlehem….. being present as Isaiah\, Mary and Joseph learn and tell others of the coming of the Christ child. \n\nFollow the path they did as they strolled through town looking for a place to sleep. Celebrate the birth of Jesus\, the Son of God. A different charity will benefit each night from the “tax collector” booth in the form of a toy and food drive. \n\nBring your family to this free event and enjoy the petting zoo with free pony rides and a live nativity. 8 local schools chiors will perform in addition to many vendors selling everything festive you need for the holiday.
