SUMMARY:GCSC’s Fire Academy Application Deadline Approaching Soon
DESCRIPTION:The Gulf Coast State College Fire Academy is currently open for applications until May 10\, 2024.  The Fire Academy is offered twice per year in three modules\, for those interested in pursuing a career in the fire service. \n\n\n\nGCSC’s Fire Academy offers individualized instruction and training from qualified instructors who work in the field. Students will qualify for firefighter positions throughout the State of Florida upon successful completion of the Minimum Standards program and State Exam. Students must meet GCSC admission requirements for P.S.A.V. and Florida Bureau of Fire Standards and Training Requirements. \n\n\n\nFire Academy: \n\n\n\n\nApplication deadline: May 10\, 2024\n\n\n\nClass begins: June 10\, 2024\n\n\n\nLocation: GCSC North Bay Campus.  \n\n\n\nFor more information\, please contact Kevin Granberg at kgranberg@gulfcoast.edu or 850.769.1551 ext. 5606.
