SUMMARY:A Grand Night for Singing
DESCRIPTION:Gulf Coast State College Division of Visual and Performing Arts presents Rodgers & Hammerstein’s “A Grand Night For Singing”\, a musical revue celebrating the legendary works of Broadway composers Richard Rodgers & Oscar Hammerstein II with musical arrangements by Fred Wells\, orchestration by Michael Gibson and Jonathan Tunick\, conceived by Walter Bobbie. Originally produced by Roundabout Theatre Company\, New York City\, in 1993. “A Grand Night For Singing” is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals.  \nThis production features an all student cast and over 30 beloved songs from classic musicals including “Oklahoma!”\, “South Pacific”\, “The Sound of Music”\, and more\, accompanied by Dr. Steven DiBlasi on grand piano and directed by Professor Vincent Pelligrino.  \nExperience fresh interpretations of Broadway’s most cherished melodies in this joyful tribute to musical theatre’s greatest songwriting duo at the Amelia Center Theatre April 4-6 and 11-13\, 2025.

SUMMARY:Gulf Coast State College to Host Annual Student Art Show
DESCRIPTION:The Visual & Performing Arts Division at Gulf Coast State College is proud to present its annual Student Art Show\, running from April 18 to May 2\, 2025\, in the Amelia G. Tapper Center Gallery on the Panama City Campus. \n\n\n\nThis exhibition highlights the talent and creativity of students from the GCSC Visual Art Department. On display will be artwork created during the 2024–2025 academic year by students enrolled in one of the College’s studio art classes. Featured media include painting\, drawing\, sculpture\, photography\, and ceramics. \n\n\n\nThe show kicks off with an opening reception on April 18\, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. CST\, and the community is invited to attend. \n\n\n\nGallery Hours: \n\n\n\n\nMonday – Thursday: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. CST\n\n\n\nFriday: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. CST\n\n\n\n\nAdmission is free and open to the public.Come out and support the incredible work of our student artists!
