DESCRIPTION:Gulf Coast State College will hold a Spring Interprofessional Education (IPE) event on its North Bay Campus on Friday\, March 8\, 2024\, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. CST. \n\n\n\nAll students from the nursing\, health sciences\, and public safety divisions\, in conjunction with the unmanned vehicle systems (UVS) and digital media programs\, will conduct an interprofessional simulation event to strengthen communication skills\, clinical proficiency\, and collaboration among the various disciplines. More than 500 students and over 50 faculty and staff members are expected to participate in the event. \n\n\n\nThe event will simulate a fiery bus crash resulting in simulated patients with smoke inhalation\, respiratory distress\, trauma\, and burn-type injuries. There will also be several mock fatalities to simulate patient identification practices using dental forensic science. DESCRIPTION:The City of Lynn Haven is thrilled to announce that our annual Easter Egg Hunt will return on Saturday\, March 23\, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at A.L. Kinsaul Park\, 1146 West 5th St. \n\n\n\nThe egg hunt will begin promptly at 10:00 AM. There will be dedicated sections for age groups: 3 years old and younger\, 4 to 6 years old\, 7 to 9 years old\, and 10 years of age and older. More than 40\,000 candy-filled eggs will cover the lawn at A.L. Kinsaul Park. All participants are asked to bring their own Easter baskets; however\, the city will have plastic Easter bags for those who cannot bring their own. Major activities provided by the city include inflatables\, face painting\, balloon artists\, stilt walkers\, a photo opportunity\, and a surprise visit from Mr. & Mrs. Easter Bunny!
