SUMMARY:Evening at the Edge of the Sea
DESCRIPTION:Come join us for An Evening at the Edge of the Sea to learn about the wondrous sea life along our pristine shores and shallows. The evening kicks off with a brief overview of local ecology\, followed by a walk into the exposed tidal flats to see an array of fascinating creatures.  \n\n\n\nThese workshops take place at the FSU Coastal & Marine Laboratory in St. Teresa\, FL. They start at 5:30 PM and end at 7:30 PM (unless otherwise indicated)\, taking full advantage of daylight savings time.  The cost is $15 per person\, paid at the event (cash or check). Class size is limited to 20 people. The minimum age is 7 years old. No upper limit at all! We do ask that children between 7-13 are accompanied by a paying adult. \n\n\n\nWhat to bring: Old sneakers or other close-toed/heel shoes. No sandals. Bug Spray.

DESCRIPTION:Come out and meet local first responders and other groups and organizations who serve our community. \n\n\n\nNational Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer\, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore\, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances. \n\n\n\nThis year’s event features over 45 representatives from across Bay County\, including: Panama City Police Department\, Panama City Fire Department\, U.S. Coast Guard Panama City\, Springfield Police Department\, Lynn Haven Police and Fire Departments\, Panama City Beach Police Department\, and many more. \n\n\n\nThere will be games\, free refreshments\, swag and first responder demonstrations for everyone to enjoy. This event is free and open to the public.

DESCRIPTION:The City of Lynn Haven is pleased to announce that the 12Eleven band will bring an exciting performance to the annual Music By The Bay event on Friday\, August 9th\, from 7-9 p.m. at Leslie Porter Park\, located at 200 Michigan Ave.\, Lynn Haven\, FL. 12Eleven is a radiant\, energetic\, and dynamic pop/R&B band with a vast range of cathartic and dance-worthy songs. The main ingredients to 12Eleven’s vibe are their warm vocals\, infectious groove\, and fresh sound. \n\n\n\nThis free summer concert is held next to the scenic Bailey Bridge and everyone is invited to the show. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to listen from the beach or pull their boat in from North Bay and listen from the water. This will be an evening of music\, dancing\, community\, and fun. Food vendors will also be on-site for our visitors to grab something to eat. \n\n\n\nThe boat ramp access at Leslie Porter Park will be closed and barricaded on Friday\, August 9th\, so boaters should make appropriate arrangements for launching and docking their boats. We encourage concertgoers to utilize golf carts\, carpooling\, walking\, or boating – as parking is limited at Leslie Porter Park. \n\n\n\nLynn Haven’s City Manager Vickie Gainer\, states\, “We love Music By The Bay because it’s a great event to celebrate the end of summer\, before our children return to school.
