Back by popular demand…the Fairy Godmother Salon returns! \nBring your princess for a royal primp and pampering experience at the pop-up Fairy Godmother Salon. DESCRIPTION:Gulf Coast Players presents\, Black Moses and Other Tales\, a storytelling showcase written\, produced\, and performed by students of the GCSC Theatre Club.  \n\n\n\nStories include a fictional account of Harriet Tubman; Halfway Home by Kaiden Ordoqui – an examination of the effects of PTSD in the life of a veteran; a Closer Look by Dawn Duvall – a haunting modern fable about family; and more. \n\n\n\nThe club’s faculty advisor\, Professor Vincent Pelligrino\, is excited about the opportunity for students to create their own work: “It’s so important for students to create their own opportunities\, whether it’s writing\, producing\, acting\, or directing – being multifaceted as a theatre maker is vital to making it as a professional\, and we are thrilled they get the opportunity to practice those skills here at Gulf Coast.” \n\n\n\nEvent details: \n\n\n\n\nThe showcase will take place on February 28 and March 1\, 2025\, at 7:30 PM (CST)\n\n\n\nSeating is limited\, so arrive early.
