Hundreds of community businesses and residents are expected to attend the event as our Board of Directors serves them with food donated by our members. \n\n\n\nBack for 2024 is the T-Rex Relay Race! Participants dressed in inflatable T-Rex costumes will compete in a relay that consists of three competitive mini-games as they race for first place. \n\n\n\nThe event is free and open to the entire community. DESCRIPTION:The City of Mexico Beach along with the Bay County Chamber of Commerce extends an invitation to the residents and visitors for a special ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the grand opening of the newly constructed Parker Park Playground. The event will take place on March 26 at 11:00 am at 2500 Highway 98\, Mexico Beach\, FL. \n\n\n\nThe Parker Park Playground project\, a collaborative effort between the Bay County Leadership Class of 2022\, City of Mexico Beach and the Board of County Commissions\, aims to provide a safe and modern play space for children and families in Mexico Beach. The new playground features state-of-the-art equipment\, including slides and climbing structures\, all designed to promote physical activity and imaginative play. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the new playground and enjoy its exciting features. \n\n\n\n“This new addition to Parker Park will provide endless activity for our residents and visitors\,” said Chris Hubbard\, City Administrator\, of Mexico Beach. “We appreciate the Bay Leadership Class for their initiative in bringing this playground to fruition as it will be a place for families to create unforgettable memories.”Leadership Bay graduate Lindsay Jones said\, “The 2022 Class of Leadership Bay is excited to see this playground come to fruition. DESCRIPTION:The Ambassadors Committee is one of the Chamber’s most active committees. They assist the Chamber in greeting new members and conducting grand openings and ribbon cuttings. This is a great committee to join as a new member as it introduces you to your fellow members and allows you to network your business with those new to the Chamber. \n\n\n\nMission: To serve as the official diplomatic representatives of the Bay County Chamber of Commerce coordinating groundbreakings\, grand openings\, and other interactions between the Chamber\, our membership and the public. \n\n\n\nResponsibilities and Benefits: Pay an additional fee of$35 per year. Serve as an official diplomatic representative of the Bay County Chamber. Greet and participate in grand openings\, ground breakings\, ribbon cuttings and Chamber events such as First Friday and Business After Hours. \n\n\n\nAttend monthly Ambassador meeting. Include your marketing/promo information in new member welcome bag. Deliver plaques\, welcome bags and mentor new member.
