These events aim to celebrate the rich cultural contributions of the African American community. \n\n\n\nThe city is kicking off the month with banners on display throughout Sharon Sheffield Park that highlight prominent local and national Black leaders who have influenced our nation and community. We invite everyone to join us throughout February as we embrace the 2025 theme “African Americans and Labor” \n\n\n\nTopics include early blues\, blues clubs and jook joints\, depression blues\, and more. Exhibit on loan from the Museum of Florida History.
