DESCRIPTION:The Ambassadors Committee is one of the Chamber’s most active committees. They assist the Chamber in greeting new members and conducting grand openings and ribbon cuttings. This is a great committee to join as a new member as it introduces you to your fellow members and allows you to network your business with those new to the Chamber. \n\n\n\nMission: To serve as the official diplomatic representatives of the Bay County Chamber of Commerce coordinating groundbreakings\, grand openings\, and other interactions between the Chamber\, our membership and the public. \n\n\n\nResponsibilities and Benefits: Pay an additional fee of$35 per year. Serve as an official diplomatic representative of the Bay County Chamber. Greet and participate in grand openings\, ground breakings\, ribbon cuttings and Chamber events such as First Friday and Business After Hours. \n\n\n\nAttend monthly Ambassador meeting. Include your marketing/promo information in new member welcome bag. Deliver plaques\, welcome bags and mentor new member. Select each monthly recipient for the Apple of our Eye award for Renovation and New Construction. SUMMARY:Lynn Haven Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony
DESCRIPTION:The City of Lynn Haven will host its 7th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Event on Tuesday\, November 28\, 2023\, from 5:30 – 8:00 PM at Sharon Sheffield Park in Lynn Haven. \n\n\n\nPlease join the city alongside WJHG News Channel 7 with their Holiday Spectacular program featuring Neysa Wilkins! Holiday festivities will kick off at 5:30 PM\, with the tree lighting countdown at 6:00 PM by City Manager Vickie Gainer. \n\n\n\nThis is a free event and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy these holiday festivities in the park. In addition\, there will be photo opportunities with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus\, free hot chocolate and cookies\, and food trucks on site. The lighting of the Christmas Tree symbolizes the start of all the Christmas festivities for the City of Lynn Haven residents. The giant 35-foot Christmas tree was first erected in Sheffield Park in 2018 after the devastation of Hurricane Michael. \n\n\n\nMayor Jesse Nelson shares that the holiday season is always memorable in the City of Lynn Haven. He states\, “The holidays are truly the most wonderful time of the year because they bring together our community while in a festive atmosphere.
